Rotor's many years of experience in drivetrain technology are also reflected in the super-light and precisely shifting UNO cassette. The open design consists of a high-strength steel alloy (eight small cogs) in conjunction with heat-treated 7075 aluminium (three largest cogs) and gives the UNO cassette an extremely rigid structure while limiting the weight to an outstanding value. The surface coating reduces friction to a minimum and thus increases the lifetime of the cassette.
Thanks to its freehub technology, the UNO cassette can be combined with the UNO Group as well as with 11-speed groups by Shimano, SRAM and compatible systems. New additions to the range are 11-30 and 11-32 versions for a broader range. Despite small ratios for steep climbs, these cassettes offer reduced steps in flat terrain in comparison to similar offerings on the market.
